He ran the whole day with only one 10 min break. After ten minutes sleeping really deep he said to Carlos his helper, can I rest 2 minutes more?. Carlos understood that he asked if he is already two minutes longer on his break and said NO!Andrea with no hesitation changed his mind and got out of the medical to run. I tried to explain the situation but all three of us just laughed. Andrea and I said God was speaking through Carlos. Look at the shambles the NBN is, something that could have thrust into the digital economy, an utter failure by those who just have nfi, or don't care. Automation may not affect us older folk so much I'm 46, as it will younger people just starting their working lives. They'll reach their working just as my contemporaries will be retiring, and as such we'll be less affected by automation. Further to this, we need to look at some other aspects of automation, and we can see this historically. That is basically how to deal with retraining, and a possible increase in unemployment as those who cannot, or will not, retrain become unable to find work, or just the number of jobs replaced by automation. I'll use commercial cleaning as an example. You can easily replace an entire team of say 5 or 6 workers with a single well designed and programmed robot, which means those 5 or 6 people will be unemployed, and may find it difficult to find other similarly low skilled roles. The issue, IMO, is that we have a country run by luddites. Not only govt luddites, but corporate luddites. Look at the shambles the NBN is, something that could have thrust into the digital economy, an utter failure by those who just have nfi, or don't care. the government would need to offer more funding to short courses, as well as introduce new accreditation policies and metrics to ensure quality was maintained;"Australia remains woefully unprepared for the next 20 years of rising job automation and must embark on an education "revolution" to cope with the stress,WA is fine because all they do is ship minerals.

In reaction to this growing critique of policing practices, the Fraternal Order of Police in Utah wrote a letter to the states school superintendent alleging anti police bias in some Utah schools targets their own children. Floridas statewide mandate that armed law enforcement be stationed at all public schools is now under attack as an overreach that is costly in dollars and is actually harming students. At least $383 million was spent at the state and local levels to embed police officers or security personnel in schools during the 2018 19 school year more than twice the amount spent in 2016 17, according to The Cost of School Policing report. The Florida report a joint project by the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida, Equality Florida, Florida Social Justice in Schools Project, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and The League of Women Voters of Florida calls for the state to repeal its mandate for armed police officers in every school. The findings and conclusions were largely based on research by University of Florida Professor F. Chris Curran into the expansion of law enforcement in Florida schools following the 2018 Parkland school shooting. The presence of law enforcement in schools was related to increases in the number of behavioral incidents reported to the state, the number of such incidents reported to law enforcement, and student arrests. The results suggest a need to reconsider whether law enforcement should be present in schools, and, if they are, how they can be implemented in a way that minimizes unnecessary exposure of students to law enforcement and arrests, Curran wrote. As a result of the state mandate, law enforcement increased 40 percent in Florida schools between 2017 and 2019. Most of that was in elementary schools which previously rarely had an on campus armed police officer. During that same period, the number of reported behavioral incidents grew, particularly involving threats and intimidation, drugs and tobacco use.
